Caring Dads

The Caring Dads Program is a group for fathers who want to build healthier relationships with their children and families. This program helps dads think about how their past behaviors affect their kids, learn safe ways to parent, and grow stronger connection and trust within the family.

Caring Dads is led by trained facilitators and is based on a trusted, evidence-based model used in many communities. It combines parent-focused support with lessons about respectful, non-abusive communication and positive fathering.

What the Program Does

  • Helps dads understand how their choices affect their children
  • Teaches child-centered parenting and respect
  • Builds skills for healthy communication and problem solving
  • Supports co-parenting without conflict
  • Encourages safer, more caring relationships with kids and families

How It Works

Caring Dads usually meets once a week for 17 sessions. In each session, dads learn new skills, share experiences, and work together to grow as parents.

Caring Dads isn’t just a class; it’s a group where fathers can learn, grow, and build stronger, safer family connections.

There is a $100 intake fee and the group sessions are free of charge.
