All benefits are effective the first of the month following 60 days for full-time employees. Employees pay a small portion of premiums for medical, dental and family vision coverage.
Our group health care insurance program provides a wide range of benefits including benefits for hospital, obstetrical, accident, maternity, and other covered charges.
Dental coverage includes preventative, primary and restorative services.
DVIS provides basic life insurance coverage for full-time employees. The amount of coverage is $20,000 life, plus $20,000 AD&D. The premium for this coverage is paid by DVIS.
Short Term/ Long Term Disability Insurance
Short-term and long-term disability insurance coverage is provided. The premium for this coverage is paid by DVIS.
Vision coverage includes the eye exam and a discount off the purchase of frames and/or contact lenses.
Personal Time Off “PTO” Days
Full-time employees accrue paid time off at the following increments:
1-5 years – 7.08 hours/pay period (23 days/year)
6-10 years – 8 hours/pay period (26 days/year)
11+ years – 9.54 hours/pay period (31 days/ year)

401(k) Retirement Plan
Employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan for full-time employees. Employee is fully vested after 3 years.
Flexible Spending Account
DVIS has established a Flexible Spending Account that allows our employees to elect to pay for certain benefits with pretax dollars. The medical and child care reimbursements are available up to the federal allowable levels. A debit card is used for both plans.
